We’re the Smiths

People that know us today can’t believe that a few years ago we were separated and nearly divorced. We didn’t know who we were, or what we wanted. We had been coasting. For too long we had let life run its course and we did not see ourselves as creators in it. We didn’t want that for ourselves, or our kids. We knew that more was possible for us.

Addiction had also ravaged our extended family. We knew we wanted to create a new narrative for our children. What did it mean to be a Smith, what did Smiths stand for, and what did we want to create in our lives?

As we built our marriage back, we realized that to create the life that we wanted, it would require a lot. We had to intentionally build and strengthen our family. We had to take a stand for ourselves and each other.

We know that we only have one chance to raise our kids, and that every moment counts. We want to know that someday our children will grow up and be happy and fulfilled, and go after their dreams. We want to know that we are raising strong, confident children. We want our children to know who they are, love who they are, and believe in who they are. We are creating relationships that are going to last.

That’s what this is all about for us! We know things won’t be perfect, but we want to set them up to follow their dreams and to really go for what THEY want in life. Can you imagine if every child was raised knowing that?! We believe it all starts with a strong family.

Smith Family Values

Together with our kids, we continue to refine and declare what we stand for and what it means to be a Smith. Our last name really stands for something. It has become our family’s brand.

Our brand allows each member of our family to be who they really are, and to continue to grow and develop and explore who they want to become.

What Families Are Saying

Shanda & Ash

“Family Branding was such a breath of fresh air for my relationship and family. Chris and Mellissa are vulnerable and real about what it took them and give real structure to how to immediately improve the landscape of your marriage and family. I would not second guess attending this workshop. It was the most relevant relationship and family workshop I've ever done!”

We are engaged and it was truly divine timing that we signed up for this workshop! Through this process, we were able to see the through line with all of our passions & values and create an incredible big impact statement. We would recommend this to anyone! In fact, we would go again!"

"Neil and I had the privilege to attend Chris and Melissa‘s Family Brand workshop. First and foremost it’s powerful to know and feel that we aren’t alone in this family building and parenting journey. I loved being surrounded by a village of people who are committed to living from belief and intentional creation. One of my favorite parts of the day was just setting aside the time and space to be with my husband to create from joy. By the end of the workshop, we created a simple and powerful foundation that resonates with both of us and will serve our family as an anchor and a keystone. It’ll be so much easier to make decisions and choices with our belief spelled out in black-and-white It was wonderful to hear from the other families. We’re all facing similar challenges and we all have opportunities to grow and be better for ourselves and for our kids. Thank you from the bottom of my heart."

"Beth and I are so grateful for Chris and Melissa Smith and the commitment they have made to strengthening connection, purpose and vision within our family and all families. The experience of working with them has been outstanding every step of the way. First, they helped us get clear on our personal vision for our family and then supported Beth and I in enrolling our four adult sons in the same journey. It's been amazing. Our sons weren't quite sure what to expect at first, but they quickly became engaged and excited to participate. They have each fallen in love with Chris and Melissa! We now have a family vision that was created by all of us working together and sharing our desires. We know who we are. What we like. What we want. And we have a shared vision of how we want our family life to play out as each son moves forward in creating their own lives. We are connecting on a much deeper level. We regularly connect via video chat. And we have a renewed commitment to each other. Everything we consider gets filtered through a new lens. It allows us to make better decisions and stay aligned. We highly recommend Chris and Melissa! They are passionate about families and skilled at bringing clarity around purpose. We encourage you to consider being proactive in order to set your family up for long-lasting and sustainable success.”
