Hey there, it’s Chris and Melissa from the Family Brand Podcast! We’re back, and this week we’re diving into a topic that’s close to our hearts – breaking free from limiting beliefs. We’ve all had those moments where a challenge comes up, and suddenly those background beliefs say, “You’re not good enough.” But here’s the thing: Every single one of us has the power to decide who we want to be. It’s about the journey, the transformation, and sometimes, that very first step of confronting our inner reflections.

We’ve had some amazing discussions lately, especially as we teach a class at our church. Recently, we explored the ‘Have, Do, Be’ versus ‘Be, Do, Have’ model. Most people start with what they want to have, then decide what they need to do to get there, and finally think about who they will be once they achieve those things.

But what if we flipped that?

What if we started with who we want to become, did the things that person would do, and then naturally got what we truly desire? A perfect example is the story of Saul becoming Paul in the Bible. It’s a powerful reminder that our past doesn’t define our future.

Now, you might wonder, how do we bring this idea into our lives? We believe it’s about regular introspection. For instance, back-to-school season or New Year’s provide a natural pause to reflect. But remember, it’s crucial to silence those doubting voices that say, “I don’t know who I want to be.” Trust in the truth of our family vision: “We believe you can be who you want to be.”

So, whether you’re seeking guidance through spirituality, self-reflection, or sheer determination, remember that you can transform. You have the power to be whoever you truly want. Thanks for joining us on this journey, and here’s to discovering our best selves!
